The Online Presence Committee has been busy since this past Spring. We’re excited to announce that the updated NALSC website is live, streamlined, and more user-friendly. Check it out at www.nalsc.org, if you haven’t already, and let us know what you think!

The Online Presence Committee has put together a robust schedule of virtual programming for the upcoming year. We plan monthly web-based 45-60-minute sessions.

There are three types of virtual programs:

• “NALSC Presents” with a guest expert sharing their specialized knowledge relevant to legal recruiting;
• “Office Hours” where we get to ask questions of our home-grown talent such as Board Members, or members of various committees; and
• “Recruiter Roundtables” which feature open discussion among members centered around specific recruiting sectors such as associate, partner, or in-house recruitment.

In April, performance coach PJ Dunn spoke about “How Strengths Methodology Can Benefit Recruiters;” in May, legal marketing expert Stefanie Marrone presented a jam-packed webinar on “Showing Up as a Leader in AI Searches;” and in June, we had a lively Office Hours session, “Ask the Law Firms,” led by members of the NALSC Advisory Committee.

Upcoming online programs include:

• NALSC Presents webinars such as author and speaker Pete Liebman on “Sustainable High Performance for Consultants, Lawyers, and Advisors” and “How Financial Doubts Can Kill Deals” with financial advisor to the legal profession Niraj Chhabra;
• Office Hours with “Ask the Expert on AI” with Byron Hsu and “Ask the B&I Committee;” and more “Ask the Law Firms” sessions with members of our Advisory Committee; and
• Recruiter Roundtables on Partner, Associate, and In-house recruiting.
